Jordan Vauvert Edition#1 - a soft fall rappellera par certains côtés le si long, l'éternel Organ²/ASLSP de John Cage, œuvre dont la durée est telle (639 ans pour être terminée) qu'elle doit tourner toute seule car nul ne peut la jouer ou l'écouter vraiment. Yann Coppier et Runar Magnusson, en installant des hauts-parleurs dans un château d'eau désaffecté, créent un lieu où la musique se joue elle-même, quasi sans musicien. Une esthétique expérimentale et ambiante poussée à l'extrême dans un silence religieux. Favorite track: falling into the sediments.

This release was born as a sound installation in the decommissioned water tower, Brønshøj Vandtårn in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The 10-speaker installation opened in early 2019 and played for half a year. This is a recording of the installation in the space itself, as the structure's fantastic acoustics end up playing the music it is fed. Thus becoming the sound source in itself.
Recorded with 14 matched L.O.M. microphones.
Mixed to binaural - USE HEADPHONES !

The release exists as well as a virtual sound art gallery, in which the listener is invited to walk into the redefined space, creating his/her own point of view. More information on this and other work by Edition# (Coppier & Magnusson): edition.is/works/
